Chris began his environmental caeer in 2001 working on contaminated sites and landfill projects across Northwester Ontario. In 2006, Chris made the decision to pursue his degree in Geology obtaining a Bachelors of Applied Science from Lakehead University in 2009. Chris continued his career in consulting untill 2011 when he made the move to undergound geologist, holding that position until 2017. Upon returning to consulting in 2018, Chris immediately moved into management. In 2019, Chris and Selorm Danku decided to create their own company with the unique vision of serving clients in Northwestern Ontario. Chris has been registered with the Professional Geoscientist of Ontario (PGO) since 2011. Chris brings a wealth of mining and environmental knowledge to our team and is a proven leader in the industry.

Selorm is a Geotechnical Engineer with over decade of professional experience working on various Geotechnical, Civil and Surveying projects in Northwestern Ontario. Selorm graduated from Lakehead University with a Degree in Civil Engineering in 2009. He begun his career immediately upon graduation in consulting where he gained extensive knowledge and experience in foundation designs, field inspections and investigations, finite element modeling (Geo-Slope), topographical and construction surveys. In 2019, Selorm and Chris Perusse decided to create their own company with the unique vision of serving clients in Northwestern Ontario. Selorm has been registered with the Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO) since 2014.

Simon is a Professional Geoloscientist with 16 years of experience working on various environmental and mining projects. He started his career by completing a Masters degree with a thesis researching remedial options at the former Steep Rock Iron Mine site near Atikokan, Ontario. Simon has worked as a consultant since 2010 with a focus on environmental baseline mining projects throughout Nortwestern Ontario. He has extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and is experienced in analyzing and interpreting scientific data, writing assessment/compliance reports and providing recommendations to clients and government agencies.

Paul is a geotechnical engineer who began his career performing soil and concrete testing on large infrastructure projects in Atlantic Canada before moving to NW Ontario to persue geotechnical engineering consulting. He has extensive field experience performing geotechnical investigations, construction supervision, and surveying in remote areas. His extensive experience has provided the skills necessary to complete geotechnical design for shallow and deep foundations, pavements, and slope stability. Paul has been registered with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) since 2023.

Mr. Livingstone is a Principal Hydrogeologist with over 30 years of experience managing multifaceted environmental and mining projects requiring innovative and novel approaches. Stephen has held senior VP roles with global and international consulting firms. His work has included the assessment, evaluation, risk management and remediation of soil, groundwater, surface waters and sediment contamination from mine sites, chemical storage facilities, factories, brownfield sites, railway yards, and landfills. He is a recognized expert in the field of contaminant fate and transport tools, numerical and data visualization.

Kara completed her Honors bachelor’s degree in environmental earth science at Lakehead University in 2015, before moving to Waterloo to complete a Master’s in environmental studies at the University of Waterloo, with a focus on microplastic pollution in Lake Superior. She started her career in consulting in 2021 and has since gained field and technical writing experience completing Phased Environmental Site Assessments, filing Record of Site Conditions, as well as completing groundwater and surface water assessments, environmental soil and water remediation, and some project management experience. Kara is currently a Geoscientist in Training working towards her professional designation as an Environmental Geoscientist.

Matthew began his career in 2022, after sucessfully completing his Honours Bacholor of Science in Water Resource Science at Lakehead University. He has 1 year of experience working in the environmental consulting field. Matthew has completed work in the environmental field related to gathering baseline data, surface water investigations, groundwater sampling, environmental inspections/assessments, and surveying. Matthew also had the ability to operate outboard motors and ATV's.

Nathan Began his career in 2019, after successfully completing his Honours Bachelor of Science in Water Resource Science at Lakehead University. Upon completion Nathan has worked for 3 years in the environmental consulting field. Nathan has relevant field work experience related to environmental spill cleanups, gathering baseline data, soil, groundwater, surface water investigations, site remediations and compliance monitoring and reporting.

Ryan graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Science in Geology program at Lakehead University in 2024 and is currently working towards his Professional Geoscientist certification. Ryan largely works on gathering baseline data, surface and ground water investigations, compliance monitoring, reporting, and assisting other staff-members in everyday company tasks when necessary. Ryan is also certified for safe operation of ATV’s, UTV’s, and outboard motors.

Bin Buhari Musah graduated in 2018 from the University of Mines and Technology in Ghana, earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Safety Engineering. He later completed a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering at Lakehead University in Canada in 2024. He began his career in 2019 and has experience working across the mining, construction, and environmental consulting industries. Musah is currently registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and is working towards his Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. Musah’s work includes baseline data collection, environmental monitoring, site inspections, compliance support, and surface water and groundwater investigations. His academic background, combined with hands-on field and industry experience, allows him to effectively support environmental management, regulatory compliance, and project execution.

Zion Began his career in 2019, after successfully completing his Honours of Bachelor of Engineering in Transportation and Highway at Landmark University, Nigeria. Upon completion of his Undergraduate, he went further to obtain his master's at Lakehead University. He is a new full-time Engineering Intern and is excited to expand his engineering services.

Ahmed is a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Geotechnical Engineer who recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Lakehead University. With hands-on experience in the field, Ahmed has already contributed to several key projects, demonstrating a strong foundation in soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigation. During their time at Lakehead University, Ahmed developed a keen interest in geotechnical engineering, excelling in courses such as Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering, and Foundation Design. He also participated in various independent initiatives and research projects, gaining practical experience and honing his technical skills. Since joining CSL, Ahmed has been involved in conducting site investigations, analyzing soil samples, and assisting in the design of foundations and retaining structures. His attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safety have made him a valuable asset to the team.

Camille is a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer-In-Training with experience in geotechnical investigations, hydrological modeling, AutoCAD/Civil 3D design, and geomatics. Her background includes project estimation, management, and quality control for heavy civil, mining, and infrastructure projects. Camille brings adaptability, technical precision, and strong field-to-office coordination skills to every project. Camille holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lakehead University.

Todd is a Senior Project Manager with more than 30 years of experience serving clients in the natural resources sector. His expertise includes the delivery of forest resource and land cover inventories, as well as the development and execution of mapping and survey programs supporting baseline environmental assessments. In 2012, Todd led a team that established one of Canada’s first commercial drone operations, delivering very high-resolution imagery, LiDAR, and magnetometer data. These innovative programs supported a range of applications, including tailings management, mineral exploration, stockpile measurement, as-built surveys, and ecosystem mapping.
